War Eagle!

My name is Grace Crim, and I am humbled and honored to serve as Miss Auburn 2024, the Official Hostess of Auburn University. In serving in this role, I am excited to uphold the standards of character, loyalty, and grace of the Auburn women who have come before me and serve diligently for the women who will follow.

My campaign was centered on the line of the creed “I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy for my fellow man and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.”  My hope is that the term I serve will reflect each aspect of this line. The heart behind this campaign stemmed from my own personal experience of learning what it looks like to make Auburn home, a place you feel welcomed, loved accepted, and pushed to be better by each and every day. Auburn is truly a place that has a facet and home for everyone. Reaching from our University faculty to the community that awaits us outside of these campus walls my goal is to show all students the ways in which they can buy in to the Auburn family. My aim and hope is that I am able to inspire others to find their place as a part of the Auburn family, and to make sure that everyone feels a sense of belonging.

As David Housel once said describing Auburn: “It is a spirit. It is an attitude. It is a way of looking at life and at one another. It is, almost, a way of living. Unless you have experienced it, you will never know what it is; you will never understand it. Once you have experienced it, you will never be the same. A part of you will, forevermore, be an Auburn man or an Auburn woman.” I hope each student leaves here knowing and feeling all that it means to be an Auburn man or woman.

It is my greatest honor to get to call Auburn home, and I am thrilled to continue this legacy.
